Kieran McDermott of McDonald’s Ennis and Shannon expressed his excitement at the prospect of being able to work alongside the CSSL for the next 3 years. ” Having played schoolboy soccer in this county many moons ago when there were only 5 or 6 teams countywide, it is really impressive to see how the Clare Schoolboys Soccer League has expanded and strengthened to encompass over 1200 kids. As a global brand, McDonald’s is commited to sponsoring large soccer events like the European Championships and the World Cup. Here in Co. Clare at a local level, I am looking forward to supporting the work of CSSL in whatever way possible”
