Lift and Strike Launch

Wolfe Tones GAA

Partnering with Wolfe Tones in Shannon was an obvious decision for McDonald’s Shannon. The local GAA club is THE palpable pulse of Shannon, having produced 3 County Senior Hurling captains in the past decade. Secondly, the professionalism of the Club’s Executive and Mentors alike makes this sponsorship arrangement a win-win scenario for both the club and McDonald’s Shannon

Clarecastle GAA

Clarecastle is one of County Clare’s fastest growing villages, and has a strong sporting tradition that stretches back for decades.

Summer jobs are not always plentiful in the village, but one aspect of the sponsorship arrangement has resulted in no less than 10 of the current u-21club hurling team having togged out in the McDonald’s Shannon uniform, flippin’ burgers, cookin’ fries and serving our customers during school holidays.

The Banner GAA

As one of County Clare’s newest GAA clubs, McDonald’s Clare is delighted to partner with the enthusiasm and spirit of a ‘start-up’ organisation.

Based in Ennis town, the Banner GAA club has made enormous strides to ensure that the optimum numbers of Ennis kids get an opportunity to hurl and play football.

The Banner Minor Club now fields teams at all grades, and we at McDonald’s are proud to continue to support volunteerism. This year, our sponsorship goes specifically to the club’s U-14 Hurling and Football teams. We look forward to growing alongside their success!
